Arnold's Son Joseph Baena Shows Off His Action Hero Physique While Riding Horseback

He's going to ever greater lengths to flaunt the results of all that training.

Joseph Baena just shared a photo on Instagram that looks like something straight off a Western movie poster—or the cover of an old fashioned romance novel. The 23-year-old posed shirtless while horseback riding in the sun, giving his followers a look at his jacked arms and chest gains—as well as what looks like some fresh facial hair.

"Headed to the Salty Spitoon," he wrote in the caption. "Want anything?"

Showing off the results of his training sessions is one of the main reasons to follow Baena on Instagram. A keen bodybuilder, he is a regular at Gold's Gym in Venice Beach, and frequently works out there with his famous dad, the bodybuilding legend and action movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger. Baena has called Schwarzenegger the "best training partner in the world," and says that "you have to go all out and absolutely NO cheating when you train with him."

He also has the habit of recreating some of Schwarzenegger's most iconic poses from his heyday as the Austrian Oak in the '70s and early '80s, when he won the Mr. Olympia competition no fewer than seven times: the likeness between the two is even more striking when you see Baena flexing in the same classic physique show tableaus.

While he is currently pursuing a career as a realtor in Los Angeles, Baena is also following in his father's footsteps outside of the gym, and trying his hand at acting. He recently shared a trailer on Instagram for a crime drama webseries entitled Scam Squad, in which he plays Nico, a buff member of a tight-knit group of con artists.
